1. What Sense AI is (and is not)
Sense AI Student Edition is a Windows desktop application for NEET / JEE aspirants that generates exam-ready questions and answers from your own study material, using local AI models that run entirely on your machine.
- Sense AI works fully offline after download and installation — no internet is required to use it.
- Sense AI does not upload, sync, or transmit your documents, questions, answers, tests, or any study content.
- We have no remote access to anything you create or store inside the Software.
2. Information stored on your device
The Software stores the following locally on your computer (by default under the Sense AI installation folder):
- Your study material — documents and notes (PDF, DOCX, etc.) that you upload.
- Generated content — questions, answers, and practice tests created by the Software.
- Application data & settings — your local database, index, and preferences.
- License file — your signed license and the machine fingerprint used to activate it.
You are in full control of this data and can remove it at any time by uninstalling the Software or deleting its data folder.
3. Information we collect (purchase, trial & support)
We collect this only when you choose to buy, start a free trial, or contact us:
- Contact & billing details — name and email, and (for GST tax invoices) institution/business name, state, address, and GSTIN where you provide them.
- Machine fingerprint — a one-way hardware identifier generated by the Software, used only to bind your license to your device and prevent unauthorised copying.
- Support communications — anything you include when you email or message our support team.
4. Payment information
Payments are processed by our payment gateway, Razorpay. Your card, UPI, netbanking, or other payment credentials are entered on Razorpay's secure systems and are never seen or stored by us. We receive only a payment confirmation and order reference needed to deliver your download link, license, and invoice.
5. Website cookies & analytics
When you visit ssquareai.com, we and our providers may collect standard technical data (IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed) using cookies and Google Analytics to understand traffic and improve the site. You can disable cookies in your browser. The Software itself uses no cookies.
6. Third-party service providers
We share limited information with trusted providers strictly to operate our service:
- Razorpay — payment processing (payment details handled by Razorpay; we receive name/email/confirmation).
- Resend — transactional email for your download link, license file, and invoice.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, secure download delivery, and security.
- Google Analytics — anonymised website usage analytics.
These providers act on our behalf and may not use your information for their own purposes. We do not sell your personal data.
7. Data retention
We retain purchase, licensing, and invoice records for as long as necessary to provide support and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations under Indian law. Trial and enquiry data is kept only as long as needed for the trial or to respond to you. You may request deletion of your personal data (see Section 9), subject to records we are legally required to keep.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect the limited information we handle, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted secret storage, and RSA-signed licenses. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to safeguard your information. Keep your license file and your computer secure.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate data;
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements);
- Withdraw consent for optional processing.

10. Children & minors
Sense AI is intended for exam aspirants and their families. If a user is a minor under applicable law, the purchase and license should be made or supervised by a parent or legal guardian, who consents to this Policy on the minor's behalf. We do not knowingly collect more personal information from minors than is necessary to provide the Software.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the website or Software after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
